Money will be sent to the destination within 20-30 minutes after the money is transferred.

  1. MoneyGram, Ria Money Transfer and SpeedSend money transfer services can transfer up to US $10,000 or about 300,000 baht / day / person.
  2. Xpress Money's money transfer service can transfer up to US $5,000 or about 150,000 baht / day / person.
  3. The maximum amount depends on the requirements of each service agent in each country or according to the requirements of the country of origin or destination.

The destination recipient does not need to have a deposit account with a bank.

When sending money abroad, the sender will have to pay the amount of money to be sent along with the remittance fee in baht, which the recipient will receive in cash in the currency of the destination recipient country, without being charged any fees (In the case of transferring money Cash to Cash) or the money will be transferred to the account (In the case of transferring Cash to Account, which may have a deduction from the money transferred into the account depending on the requirements of each bank in each country).

  1. Fill in the details in the "Money Transfer" Forn with the country of destination you want to send money to and the amount you want to send.
  2. Submit identification documents issued by government agencies which have not expired, such as passports or identification cards, along with supporting documents for transferring money according to the regulations of the Bank Of Thailand.
  3. Submit the completed payment form with the money transfer documents to the branch staff of the Government Savings Bank, along withith the money to send and the remittance fee.
  4. The Government Savings Bank will make a transaction to send money in their system, and will issue a receipt or proof of remittance.
  5. Customers can check the accuracy and sign the receipt. They will receive receipts and reference numbers or the code to receive money.

  2. Submit identification documents issued by government agencies which have not expired, such as passports or identification cards.
  3. The Government Savings Bank will check the accuracy of various information and will issue a receipt or proof of transaction.
  4. Customers should verify the authenticity on the information on the forms and sign the receipt.
  5. The Government Savings Bank makes payments to the payee without deducting any fees (In the case of receiving cash).
